Day 1: Airport / Sindia Start of our services: a driver-guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Transfer to your hotel, just a few minutes away. Overnight at the hotel. Day 2: Sindia / Wassadou Breakfast, then head southeast across several regions and major towns of Senegal. Despite the distance, the scenery will make the journey enjoyable—and what better way to discover Africa than by road! Arrival at Wassadou Camp, complete change of scenery. Watch out for little monkeys that may try to steal food from your plate. Overnight in traditional local huts with dinner included. Day 3: Wassadou / Niokolo-Koba Park / Kédougou Breakfast, then embark on a mini safari in Niokolo-Koba National Park, home to around 80 mammal species, including buffalo, baboons, hippos, chimpanzees, leopards, and even lions. The Gambia River runs through the park, allowing sightings of Nile crocodiles and monitor lizards. Picnic lunch in a group, then continue to Kédougou. Dinner and overnight at the Kédougou Bioparc. Note: The Kédougou Bioparc is an extraordinary place, a conservatory of biodiversity and cultural heritage. You will stay in a suite to fully enjoy your visit. Comfort is a top priority at this complex. Day 4: Kédougou / Ibel / Iwol / Dindefelo / Kédougou Breakfast, then embark on a human adventure. Ibel is the first Bedik village, a very conservative people protective of their customs. From there, reach Mount Iwol on foot—a small trek of about 1.5 hours with frequent stops for sports enthusiasts. The effort is rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view at the cliff top. On the way down, pass by the Dindefelo waterfall before returning to Kédougou. Dinner and overnight at the Bioparc. Day 5: Kédougou / Ethiolo-Salemata / Kédougou Breakfast. On this second cultural day, discover the Bassari people. The villages of Ethiolo and Salemata are central to this fascinating community, located near the Guinean border, where several anthropological studies have been conducted. At the village entrance, Balingo will offer a local family-style lunch with authentic flavors. Return to the Bioparc for dinner and overnight stay. Day 6: Kédougou / Kolda Breakfast, then head west for a day of travel with stops at weekly markets in villages along the main road. Check-in at a comfortable hotel in Kolda. Dinner and overnight included. Day 7: Kolda / Ziguinchor Breakfast, then relax by the pool to recover from the long journey and transfer to Ziguinchor. Check-in at a charming hotel by the river, near the city center. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 8: Ziguinchor / Brin / Enampore / Séléki Breakfast, then embark on a mini-tour through the villages of Brin, Enampore, and Séléki in Lower Casamance. These villages are home to the famous impluvium houses, carefully preserved treasures of their people. Return to Ziguinchor for dinner and overnight. Day 9: Ziguinchor / Cachouane Breakfast, then depart for Cachouane Island via the famous town of Oussouye. A visit to the King of Oussouye, the ardent guardian of ancestral customs, is a must. Continue to Elinkin to cross to Cachouane Island. Dinner and overnight on the island at Campement Chez Papis. An introductory Djembé session will immerse you in the country’s rhythms. Day 10: Cachouane / Cap Skiring Breakfast, then enjoy the surroundings of this riverside location, ideal for relaxing. Return by pirogue and continue to the last, yet not least, destination: Cap Skiring. Check-in at a renowned beachfront hotel, with exceptional staff, a large pool with panoramic ocean views, and an endless beach. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 11: Cap Skiring Breakfast, then a free day for relaxation (half-board included). Note: Optional excursions are available at the hotel if you wish to explore the surroundings. Day 12: Cap Skiring / Airport Breakfast and a free morning. We will accompany you to the airport according to your flight schedule. End of our services.
